Awesome High Def Still from the Canon
These two photos are actually still captures from a video Rob took of me last week, on the Canon 5D mark II.
The Canon shoots video at 1920x1080 res .. true High Def, not the 1280x720 (1440x1080i) resolution of the Sony HDV standard
But just checkout the quality of these images .. you almost don't need to shoot using the Canon in stills mode.
As a result of this great quality, we are now adding still captures from all the High Def videos we shoot from now on (if shot on the Canon, and perhaps on the Sony)
The only technical issue is that these images don't look correct in terms of aspect ratio .. but it's difficult to tell for sure as I was lying down.
In the meantime, enjoy these super clear images of me tanning.
